Walk Where Jesus Walked

Looking for a one-of-a-kind trip to The Holy Land (Israel).

MO JOE TRAVEL has confirmed a group tour of the Holy Land for October 2025!

This once-in-a-lifetime experience is timed to deepen your study of the Bible, just as the LDS curriculum returns to the Old Testament in 2026.

Your journey begins as we depart the United States on October 18, 2025, arriving the next day in Tel Aviv…where we will overnight on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.

From there, nine unforgettable days await.

Together, we will explore sacred sites from both the Old and New Testaments… walking in the very places where prophets, apostles, and righteous leaders once stood.

Along the way we will encounter places of significance in the lives of virtuous men and women like Abraham, Rachel, Moses, Joshua, Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lehi, John the Baptist, and the Apostles Peter and Paul.

We will also encounter the impact of secular leaders like King Herod, Pontius Pilate, Herod Antipas, and Jezebel, but also the righteous kings Hezekiah and Josiah.

You’ll experience the beauty and history of:

  • The plains of Sharon

  • The heights of Mount Carmel and Mount Hermon

  • The Jezreel and Jordan Valleys

  • The Galilee and the Dead Sea

  • The Judean Desert

  • And, of course, the Eternal City…Jerusalem

In addition to learning about sacred history, we will see how prophecy has been fulfilled in the populating of Israel during the time since the decay and demise of the Ottoman Empire, before and after WWI.

We will conclude our tour on October 28, 2025, with a scheduled return home on October 29, carrying home unforgettable memories, deepened faith, and a strengthened love for sacred scripture.

Space is limited for this intimate and powerful experience.

We invite you to walk with us where Jesus walked…and see the scriptures come alive.

Principle Traveler

Dr. Joseph Q. Jarvis

Joseph Q. Jarvis

An experienced traveler, Dr. Jarvis has a special place in his heart for Europe after serving a mission for the LDS Church in Austria. He also loves sites in Great Britain of historic significance to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Check out Joe’s prior LDS Church history tours to Europe!

Dr. Jarvis also loves the sacred and ancient places of interest in the Holy Land. As he has traveled there, he has come to better understand the Bible and has been stirred by the opportunity to walk where Jesus walked, experiences he loves to share with fellow travelers. You can find many of his experiences and one-of-a-kind images in his book The Hope of the Promise: Israel in Ancient & Latter Days.

Dr. Jarvis has practiced family medicine and organized public health services for thirty-five years. His spouse of forty-four years, Annette W. Jarvis, is an internationally recognized business bankruptcy attorney.  Together they have five children (complete with five in-law children) and seven grandchildren (with one on the way).  They reside in Salt Lake City, Utah, but their children and grandchildren are scattered across the United States, requiring a good deal of grandparent travel each year.

Dr. Jarvis is the author of four books, The Purple World: Healing the Harm in American Health Care, What the Single Eye Sees: Faith, Hope, Charity & the Pursuit of Discipleship,  The Hope of the Promise: Israel in Ancient & Latter Days, and For the Hurt of My People.

In The Hope of the Promise, Dr. Joseph Jarvis explores several ancient sites where biblical events took place and re-asks Paul’s question: “Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?”  The book includes stunning photographs and an in-depth analysis of the area where Jesus lived and walked.
